Final Round Results
HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP, Pa. –
Michael Jiggins led the Purple Eagles through the final round of the RMU Colonial Classic and finished tied for eighth overall on Tuesday afternoon.
The final round was delayed by fog but Jiggins was able to secure a spot in the top-10 by turning in a combined score of 155 (+11).
Jacob Felicetti was second on the team with a 163 (+19). Both
Anthony DiBacco and
Zach Clark carded a 166 (+22) while
Jackson Lizardo rounded out the team scoring with a 168 (+24) for the event.
Brendan Fiore and
Kenneth Hand competed individually and finished with a 174 (+28) and 176 (+30), respectively.
As a team Niagara finished in sixth place with 648 points, two behind the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore’s 646 points.
Men’s golf is back on the course in a little over two weeks when it heads to the New Englans Intercollegiate Golf Association
Tournament that opens on Sunday, Oct. 28.
