Niagara will host the Rider Broncs on Friday at 7 p.m. to begin its final home weekend of the season.
The Purple Eagles and Broncs will meet for the first time this season. Niagara, which leads the all-time series 18-12, has won the last three meetings for its longest streak against a MAAC opponent. The Purple Eagles defeated the Broncs in the 2009 MAAC Tournament First Round for their first win in the tournament since 2006 and swept last season series for the first time since 2007.

s The Purple Eagles fell at Loyola in their last game for their 19th straight setback.
s Niagara will finish its home slate of game this weekend hosting Rider on Friday and Iona on Sunday.
s Niagara starts conference play 0-14 for the second time in three seasons.
s The starting backcourt of Kayla Stroman and Ali Morris have missed a total of 24 games due to injury. Stroman, who played in 39 straight games to start her career, has not played since suffering a season-ending injury on Dec. 9 versus Hofstra.
s Flooks moved into fifth place all-time in 3-pointers at NU. Flooks is three points away from tying Anne Rudnicki (‘95) for 14th place in all-time scoring.
s Flooks has made 16 straight free throws. Her last miss was against Loyola (Ill.) on Dec. 5.
s Junior Meghan Waterman is fourth in the MAAC in steals per game and 12th in assists per game. Waterman leads the team in minutes played and has started in 51 straight games.
s Freshman Shy Britton is sixth in the conference with 1.2 blocks per game and second in conference only games with 1.8 per game.
s Kendra Faustin’s four wins are the most against a conference opponent.

Rider enters Friday’s game tied for eighth place with a 3-11 conference record. Sophomore guard Shereen Lightbourne leads the team in scoring with 9.5 points per game and Caitlin Bopp leads the team with 8.5 rebounds per game.
Against the Broncs (Niagara leads 18-12)
Niagara leads the all-time series against Rider, 18-12, in a relatively young series. Niagara has won the last three meetings for its longest streak in the series since winning three straight from Jan. 2007-Dec. 2007.

NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. - The Niagara women’s basketball team defeated the Rider Broncs, 68-56, to win its fourth-straight game on Saturday from the Gallagher Center. Four Purple Eagles scored in double-figures in the win that extended their longest win streak since Nov. 2006.
