How To Tune In
Niagara's contest against in-state rival Syracuse will be shown on Time Warner Cable Sportsnet in Buffalo and Syracuse. Fans can catch the game on channel 13 (Standard) and on channel 713 (HD) in Western New York. Fans can also utilize the above links for live video and live stats.

Niagara could not build on a strong first half on the road and would fall to St. Bonaventure, 63-49, on Dec. 13 in the 54th meeting between the programs.

On The Court: The Syracuse Orange (9-4)
Syracuse opened the season with a six-game winning streak, with its first four wins coming at home, followed by a three-game losing skid. It has found some recent success going 2-1 over its last three games.
The Orange rank in the top-50 nationally in several categories so far this season, including scoring offense (42nd), scoring margin (47th), free-throw percentage (27th), and rebound margin (6th).

Against the Big East
Niagara has played 11 of the 16 Big East teams throughout the program’s history. The Purple Eagles have only met five of those teams since 2000; Louisville (2000), Georgetown (2002), USF (2004), St. John’s (2006), and Syracuse (2008).

Since the 2000-2001 season the Purple Eagles are 5-6 in their final games of a calendar year.

The Purple Eagles cracked the top-100 in the NCAA for three-point percentage; their 32.6 percent clip has them ranked 81st in the nation. Sophomore
Chanel Johnson leads the team, hitting 55.6 percent (5-9) of her three-point chances.
The freshmen have also stepped up in a big way.
Kelly Van Leeuwen has hit 36.4 percent (4-11) of her chances from beyond the arc while Meghan McGuinness has hit an even 36 percent (9-25) and
Val McQuade has hit 35 percent (6-17) of her chances.
