Ranked Teams At Dwyer
The Purple Eagles are 2-1-1 in their last four games against ranked teams at Dwyer Arena, including last weekend’s 3-3 tie with No. 12/11 Union. The last time Niagara played two consecutive home games against ranked foes was during the 2009-10 season, when Niagara split a pair of games against then-No. 11 Bemidji State in January 2010.

Tough Schedule
Niagara takes on several teams this year that earned a spot on the national rankings (USCHO/USA Today). Niagara already played No. 6/9 Michigan & No. 12/11 Union, with games coming up against No. 16 Colgate, No. 19 Cornell and No. 8/8 Minnesota. Niagara also has games schedule against teams receiving votes; Air Force, and Holy Cross.

October & Dwyer Arena
Niagara seems to do quite well during October at Dwyer Arena, going 8-2-5 in the last 15 games. The Purple Eagles are 15-10-6 all-time at Dwyer Arena during the 10th month of the year, with head coach Dave Burkholder picking up the bulk of the load, at 14-8-6.
