NU’s Hot Run
Niagara will look to sweep its five-game homestand when it plays the Loyola Greyhounds on Monday night in its Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Pink Zone® Game.
The Purple Eagles won their fourth-straight game to match their longest winning streak in three seasons when they defeated Rider, 68-56, on Saturday afternoon. Niagara, who is currently tied for third in the MAAC, has won six of its last seven games.
Niagara won the last meeting against the Greyhounds on senior day last season and has won the last two meetings at home.

s Niagara has won six of its last seven games for its best run of since winning six out of seven games in Nov. 2006.
s Niagara’s four-game winning streak is the longest win streak in the MAAC.

s Niagara started its five game homestand on Jan. 29 with a 65-63 overtime win over Siena. This is the longest homestand since playing five-straight home games from Jan. 21-31, 1998.

NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. – Niagara‘s three seniors, helped by a career-high 22 points from Kristina Walton, led the Purple Eagles to a 70-65 win over the Loyola Greyhounds on Sunday afternoon at the Gallagher Center. The win on senior day snaps Niagara’s 24-game losing streak.
