NU Concludes Road Swing

Niagara concludes its road schedule with a Sunday matinee at the Loyola Greyhounds. The Purple Eagles, winners of nine out of 11 games, defeated the Greyhounds in the annual WBCA Pink Zone® Game on Feb. 8.

Niagara ends its regular season schedule and season-long four-game road swing at a place where it has not won in 18 years. The Purple Eagles are 3-13 at Loyola in a series that started in Feb. 1990, and had their last win in Baltimore on Feb. 23, 1992 (86-82).

The Purple Eagles are 4-2 in their last six road games, including beating archrival Canisius 49-46 in their last game. Niagara, who picked up consecutive MAAC road wins for the first time in five seasons in January, has accomplished that feat twice this season.
