Hart, Jarvis Move Into Top Ten After Day Two of MAAC's

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. - The men's golf team sits in fifth place after day two of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championships in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., Saturday.

Senior Chris Hart (Ithaca, N.Y.) and junior Mike Jarvis (Lancaster, N.Y.) finished with even-par scores of 72, moving into the top ten on the leaderboard. Hart is tied for fourth place with a one-over 145, while Jarvis' 149 is tied for eighth place.

Siena has the team-lead with a four-man total of 593. Rider, Loyola and Iona are the other squads above Niagara. The Purple Eagles sit two strokes behind Iona with a four-man total of 607.

Sophomore Don Bryson (Brantford, Ont.) carded a day-two 78, while freshman Jason Polka (Lewiston, N.Y.) finished with a 79.

The final round of the tournament begins Sunday morning at the Disney's Magnolia Golf Course.
