NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, N.Y. – Senior Chris Hart (Ithaca, N.Y.) shot a four-over par 74 to lead the Niagara University golf team on day one of the 18th Annual Leo Keenan Golf Invitational at the par-70 Barlett Country Club in Olean, N.Y.

Purple Eagles shot a 306 on the day to finish 10th, and St. Bonaventure leads the invitational with a 289.

Junior Mike Jarvis (Lancaster, N.Y./St. Francis) is in a tie for 26th with a 75. Sophomore Chris Singleton (Niagara Falls, Ont.) shot a 76, freshman Jason Polka (Lewiston, N.Y/Lewiston-Porter) had an 81 and senior Dan Misko (Grand Island, N.Y./St. Joseph’s) an 83.

Playing independently, freshman Joe Tonnos (St. Catharines, Ont.) shot an 80.

The invitational continues Monday.
