MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Matt Paradise scored with a minute left in overtime to lift Robert Morris (3-3-1) to a 1-0 overtime win over Niagara University (1-4-0) Sunday afternoon in men’s soccer non-conference action.
Paradise beat Purple Eagle freshman goalkeeper John Fiutowski (Ottawa, Ont.) low and to the right of the net on a pass from Jason Pelletier.
Niagara best chances came from seniors Brian Leonard (Sarnia, Ont.) and Kwame Oduro (Toronto, Ont.), but neither could break up Colonial keeper Matt Felice’s shutout.
Senior James McKenna (Pittsford, N.Y.) made two saves, playing the first half and Fiutowski made four the remainder of the game.
Niagara returns to action Wednesday when it meets St. Bonaventure in Olean for a 5 p.m. game.
