NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, N.Y. -- The Niagara University women’s basketball team (2-15, 1-7) gets its second rematch of the season when it hosts Fairfield University (7-9, 4-3) today at 2 p.m. in the legendary Taps Gallagher Center.
The Purple Eagles are 0-1 in rematches this season (Marist) but look to come out of the weekend with a split of games. They lost a close 67-61 game to Iona on Friday that extended their losing streak to four games.
Fairfield enters the game on a losing note after dropping an 85-73 game at Canisius Friday night. The Stags have lost their last two games and three of their last five outings.
Today’s game will be broadcast tape delay on Lockport Cable Television Channel 20 on Monday at 1 a.m. and Thursday at 9 p.m. It can also be heard live on PurpleEagles.com.
