NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, N.Y. -- The Niagara University women’s basketball team (14-9, 9-5) continues its brutal six-game road swing with stops at Marist College (17-6, 11-3) on Thursday and at Fairfield University on Saturday (9-14, 7-7). Game times are 7 p.m. and 1 p.m. at the McCann Center and the Arena at Harbor Yard, respectively.
The Purple Eagles are in third place in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference behind Marist (11-3) and Canisius (11-3).
Niagara has a modest two-game winning streak and two-game road winning streak after beating Iona (78-70) and Rider (72-42) last week.
Marist enters the game on an 11-game winning after picking up wins at Siena and at Loyola last week.
Fairfield has won two-straight games, recording wins at Manhattan and vs. Siena last week.
