Sabo had a strong rookie campaign for the Purple Eagles. At the Little Three Championship, which was his first collegiate event, Sabo led the Purple Eagles, tying for second place with a two-round score of 145 (+5). Sabo also led Niagara at the Metropolitan Intercollegiate Championship, where he tied for ninth place with a score of 72 (+2).
Sabo tied for 26th place at both the Bucknell Invitational with a total score of 147 (+7) and at the Matthews Auto Collegiate Invitational with a score of 75 (+3). He tied for 52nd with a score of 238 (+25) at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate, which was the only event the Purple Eagles were able to complete during the spring season.
Sabo, a Burlington, Ontario native, is working towards a degree in business management.
