Suhay is a four-year member of Niagara's women's track and field program. Initially joining the squad as the first triple jumper in team history, she has also competed in long jump as well.

Academically, she has garnered recognition as a scholar athlete every semester, is a three-time MAAC All-Academic honoree, and has an overall GPA of 3.66. She was a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and has interned as a pediatric oncology nurse at Oishei Children's Hospital.

Suhay is set to graduate this spring with a degree in nursing.
