Benny Serrano was off to a strong start in his junior season on Monteagle Ridge. Serrano played and started in 15 games and batted .259. He led the team in homeruns with four and had a team-best .556 slugging percentage. Serrano recorded 14 hits, four doubles, eight runs scored and 12 RBIs. Serrano, a criminal justice major from Tonawanda, N.Y., recorded a season-high two hits and three RBIs at Boise State on March 9.
