Godfrey excelled in her senior season with the Purple Eagles. Godfrey led Niagara at the Lonnie Barton Invitational, the only event NU was able to participate in during the spring season. She finished in 38^th place and finished the tournament with a two-round score of 163 (+20).

During the fall season, Godfrey made program history at the Vanessa Picciotto Perrine Intercollegiate, becoming the first player in NU women's golf history to win an individual title at an event. Godfrey finished tied for first place with two other competitors and shot par on the first hole of the sudden death play-off to win the event. She finished the tournament with a 36-hole score of 161 (+17).

Godfrey is majoring in liberal arts with a minor in writing.
