NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. - Cross country star Julie Dickhans (Sewickley, Pa.) has been named to the 2008 ESPN the Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District Cross Country Team. The senior was one of 10 runners named to the First Team District I List.

BOSTON - Senior Julie Dickhans (Sewickly, Pa.) recorded the best finish in school history at the NCAA Northeast Regionals in Boston, Mass., on Saturday. Dickhans finished 63rd, turning in a time of 22:14 on the 6K course.

Sapaleva Selected as Niagara Athlete of the Week NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, N.Y. – After helping guide the Niagara University women’s cross country team to first place at the Le Moyne Invitational Oct. 1, junior Tatyana Sapaleva (New Hartford, N.Y.) was named the Niagara Athlete of the Week. Sapaleva led the way for Niagara with a second-place performance in the 5K event in Syracuse, N.Y., posting a time of 20:14. |
