The Second Annual Niagara University SLAMphoma!
NEW DATE! Monday, April 16th - Approximately 2 p.m. - Niagara Field (After DH vs. Fairfield)
Help us knock Lymphoma out of the park!
Sixteen-year old Kaely Kwitek, an Orchard Park High School student was recently diagnosed with stage-four anaplastic large cell lymphoma. In an effort to raise awareness for this disease while also helping raise money to offset medial costs, the Purple Eagles will be holding the second annual SLAMphoma!
Like last year, fans can donate a set amount or a specific amount per home run that your sponsored student-athlete hits. A new twist this year, is that besides the members of the Niagara softball team, fans can sponsor student-athletes from other Niagara teams that participate in the home run derby.
For those wishing to simply make a donation, please mail a check payable to "Niagara University Softball - SLAMphoma!" and send it to:
