Trevor McCauley were named to the Preseason All-MAAC Team, voted on by the league's coaches, announced on Wednesday.
Cullen started all 48 games in 2017 and finished the season batting .341. He had 30 runs, 62 hits and 33 RBIs. Cullen was selected to the All-MAAC Second Team at the conclusion of the season. McCauley, who was also named to the All-MAAC Second Team following the 2017 season, started in 41 games and finished the season batting .367 with 24 runs, 55 hits, 14 doubles and 29 RBIs.
The MAAC also released the preseason coaches' poll. The Purple Eagles, who finished 24-24 in 2017, the sixth-best program record, were tabbed fourth, including one first place vote.
Niagara kicks off the 2018 season at Longwood University Feb. 23-25.
