  • The Purple Eagles fell to defending MAAC Champions Iona, 65-55, on Thursday, Feb. 2.
  • Kaylee Stroemple led Niagara in scoring with 15 points. Stroemple has scored 15 or more points in eight games so far this season.
  • Stroemple, Adila Gathers and Kharysma Bryant led the team in rebounding with four rebounds each.
  • Jamie Sherburne added a season-high 12 points for the Purple Eagles and also led the team in assists with three.

On the Court: Purple Eagles
  • Redshirt-junior forward Rampado leads the Purple Eagles in scoring with 16.4 points per game and in rebounding with 7.9 rebounds per game. Rampado is third in the MAAC in rebounding and is fourth in scoring.
  • Junior forward Stroemple also averages in double figure scoring with 12.5 points per game.
  • Stroemple has the third-best field goal percentage in the MAAC; she is 109-for-216 for a percentage of 50.5.
  • Corselli leads Niagara in assists with a team-best 2.4 assists per game and in steals with 1.5 steals per game.
  • Niagara is second in the MAAC in 3-point field goal percentage; the team is 128-for-382 (33.5%), is second in free throw percentage (74.2%) and is fourth in the MAAC in overall field goal percentage (39.9%).
 
On the Court: Manhattan Jaspers
  • Junior center Kayla Grimme leads the Jaspers in both scoring and rebounding; she averages 12.8 points per game and 7.6 rebounds per game. Grimmer is fourth in the MAAC in rebounding and 12th in scoring.
  • Grimme also leads the team in blocks and is second in the MAAC with 1.8 blocked shots per game.
  • Amani Tatum, a a junior guard, is second on the team in scoring and rebounding with 11.5 points per game and 4.1 rebounds per game. She leads the team in assists with 4.3 per game and in steals with 2.2 per game.
  • Overall, Manhattan is third in the MAAC in blocked shots with an average of 3.5 blocks per game and is sixth in the MAAC in steals with 7.3 steals per game.
