EDISON, N.J. – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) released its women's golf preseason coaches' poll on Tuesday. Niagara received 29 points and was selected to finish seventh.
The team completed the fall portion of its schedule in October 2016. The Purple Eagles competed in four events in the fall; the Bison Invitational, the Golden Grizzlies Invitational, the Roseann Schwartz Invitational and the Lehigh Invitational.
The Purple Eagles will begin their spring schedule, which has not yet been announced, in early April and will conclude the season at the MAAC Championships, which will be held April 20-23 at Disney's Magnolia Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
