Klinowski Paces NU At MAAC Championships

MAAC Championship Results

HOLMDEL, NJ – The Niagara University women's cross country team competed at the MAAC Championships held at Holmdel Park on Saturday.

Meet Marks

Freshman Nora Klinowski led the Purple Eagles in the 6K race with a time of 25:09.01. Klinowski has led Niagara in every meet this season.
Classmate Stephanie Webster was second on the team at 26.33.25.
Senior Sarah Grubbs immediately followed with a time of 26:33.92.
A pair of sophomores – Mallory Ronan (27:04.60) and Julia Freemire (27:18.10) – followed.
Kylee Schultz, Aly Orfano, Emma Bagnato, and Emilee Welton rounded out the order.
Niagara finished 10th out of 11 teams.

MAAC All-Academic

Emilee Welton, Juila Freemire, Mallory Ronan and Kylee Schultz were named to the MAAC All-Academic Team.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
