  • The Purple Eagles fell to MAAC-leading Quinnipiac, 71-64, on Thursday, Jan. 5 i n their annual kids day game.
  • Niagara led Quinnipiac for almost the entire game, but faltered in the final minute, allowing the Bobcats to eke out a win.
  • Kaylee Stroemple led Niagara in scoring with a career-high 26 points. She also added seven rebounds and four assists for the Purple Eagles.
  • Victoria Rampado led Niagara in rebounding with nine rebounds. Rampado has brought down nine or more rebounds in eight games this season.
  • Morgan Baughman added 11 points and shot 50 percent from the 3-point line: it was her eighth game this season with three or more 3-pointers.

  • Redshirt-junior forward Rampado leads the Purple Eagles in scoring with 16.1 points per game and in rebounding with 8.2 rebounds per game. Rampado leads the MAAC in rebounding and is second in scoring.  
  • Junior forward Stroemple and senior guard Corselli also average in double figure scoring. Stroemple averages 12.4 points per game and Corselli averages 10.4 points per game.
  • Stroemple has the third-best field goal percentage in the MAAC; she is 68-for-124 for a percentage of 54.8.
  • Freshman guard Baughman is tied for third in the MAAC in 3-point field goal percentage (42.3%).
  • Niagara leads the MAAC in 3-point field goal percentage; the team is 85-for-243 (35.0%).

On the Court: Marist Red Foxes
  • Freshman guard Rebekah Hand leads the Red Foxes in both scoring and rebounding; she averages 14.7 points per game and 6.9 rebounds per game. Hand is sixth in the MAAC in scoring and seventh in rebounding.
  • Hand is second in the MAAC in free throw percentage; she is 53-for-66 for a percentage of 80.3.
  • Hannah Hand, a freshman guard, averages a team-best 3.2 assists per game and she has the fifth-most assists in the MAAC. Hand is also tied with Baughman for third-best 3-point field goal percentage in the MAAC; she is 33-for-78 for a percentage of 42.3.
  • Marist has the fifth-highest scoring offense in the MAAC. The Red Foxes average 63.2 points per game.
  • Marist is first in free throw percentage (207-for-267, 77.5%), second in assists (15.1 per game) and second in 3-point field goals made (7.9 per game).
