  • The Purple Eagles fell to Quinnipiac, 61-45, on Thursday, Jan. 26.
  • Victoria Rampado led the Purple Eagles in scoring with 17 points. She scored her 1,000th career point against the Bobcats, becoming the 22nd player in Niagara women's basketball history to reach that milestone.
  • Rampado also brought down a team-high eight rebounds.
  • Kaylee Stroemple added 10 points and Tiffany Corselli had four rebounds.
  • Maggie McIntyre and Jamie Sherburne led the Purple Eagles in assists with five each, which was a career-high for McIntyre.
  • Sherburne had a team-best three steals, which was also her season-high.

On the Court: Purple Eagles
  • Redshirt-junior forward Rampado leads the Purple Eagles in scoring with 16.4 points per game and in rebounding with 8.2 rebounds per game. Rampado is second in the MAAC in rebounding and fourth in scoring.
  • Junior forward Stroemple also averages in double figure scoring with 12.7 points per game.
  • Stroemple has the third-best field goal percentage in the MAAC; she is 100-for-193 for a percentage of 51.8.
  • Corselli leads Niagara in assists with a team-best 2.5 assists per game and in steals with 1.5 steals per game.
  • Niagara is third in the MAAC in 3-point field goal percentage; the team is 117-for-352 (33.2%), is third in free throw percentage (72.9%) and is fourth in the MAAC in overall field goal percentage (39.8%).

 
On the Court: Fairfield Stags
  • Senior forward Kelsey Carey leads the Stags in scoring, averaging 15.6 points per game. She is fifth in the MAAC in scoring.
  • Redshirt-junior forward Samantha Cooper and redshirt-senior forward Casey Smith also average in double figures for the Stags; Cooper averages 12.3 points per game and Smith averages 13.4 points per game.
  • Cooper leads the team, and the MAAC, in rebounding with 8.4 rebounds per game.
  • Casey Foley, a sophomore guard, lead the Stags in assists with 3.2 per game, which ranks her second in the MAAC, and in steals with 1.2 per game.
  • Fairfield is second in the MAAC in assists; the team averages 15.3 assists per game. The Stags are third in the conference in field goal percentage; they are 440-for-1,100 for a percentage of 40.0.
