Purple Eagles To Compete At Rocket Invite

The Niagara men's tennis team continue its fall schedule at the 2016 Rocket Invitational from Sept. 30-Oct. 2.
 
First Serve
  • The Purple Eagles are back on the court after competing in the Binghamton Invitational last weekend.
  • Taylan Ozdemir picked up a third place finish, winning three of his four matches. He defeated NJIT's Luka Kaic, 6-3, 6-4 and Binghamton's Frenk Kote, 6-4, 7-6(3), to advance to the semifinals where he was defeated by NJIT's Aleksa Petrovic, 5-7, 6-3, 7-5.
  • The doubles team of Josh Wilson and Felipe Fuentes went 2-2 playing in the green draw.
