First Round Results
LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Niagara women's golf team completed the first round of the Bison Invitational, hosted by Bucknell, on Saturday. The team carded a total 18-hole score of 334 (+54) and is in third place.
Junior
Emily Doyle led the Purple Eagles in the first round. Doyle fired a 74 (+4) and is currently in second place.
Selena Cerra carded a 79 (+9) and is tied for sixth with Siena's Ashley Nguyen and Bucknell's Anna Dailey. In her first appearance for the Purple Eagles, freshman
Daniella Hopper shot 87 (+17) and is in 15th place after the first round.
Britteny Purcell and
Samantha Bernardo rounded out the Niagara quintet. Purcell carded a 94 (+24) and is tied for 21st place and Bernardo shot 96 (+26) and is tied for 24th.
The Purple Eagles will complete the second and final round of the Bison Invitational on Sunday, Sept. 18.
