The Niagara University Department of Athletics welcomed back men's basketball alumni to celebrate the history and brotherhood of the Purple Eagles basketball program for alumni weekend from December 9-11.
Alums from the 1950s to the 2010s returned to Monteagle Ridge for the weekend's festivities, beginning with the Basketball Alumni Dinner on Friday, Dec. 9. On Saturday, there was a game between the alums and this year's team managers, with the alums besting the managers, 115-95.
At halftime of the Purple Eagles' game with Norfolk State, alums in attendance were recognized including members of the 2006-07 MAAC Championship team.
