The Niagara University Purple Eagles return to the Gallagher Center for the first time since opening the 2016-17 season on November 11 to host the Drexel Dragons on Wednesday, November 23. 
 
Scene Setter
• Niagara has been on a three-game road swing since opening the season at home.
•  NU lost a close game to Brown on Nov. 13. NU rallied from a 14-point second half deficit to force overtime before falling in the extra session to the Hartford Hawks, 82-78, as part ESPN's ninth annual College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon on Nov. 15.
The Purple Eagles had a second half lead against Rutgers before a Scarlet Knight run lifted them to the win.
•  This will be Niagara's last home game until December 10 as the Purple Eagles will start a four-game road trip at North Texas on Friday, November 25. 
•  This will be the third game as part of the Scarlet Knight Classic. 
  
Tipoff Tidbits
•  Three Purple Eagles are averaging in double figures – 
Matt Scott (20.5 ppg), 
Kahlil Dukes (13.0 ppg) and 
Dominic Robb (10.0).
•  
Matt Scott is coming off of a season-high 30-point effort this past Sunday at Rutgers for his third career 30-point game. He also led NU with eight rebounds, four assists and three steals.
•  
Matt Scott has led or shared team-high honors in assists in every game.
•  
Kahlil Dukes is the only Purple Eagle to score in double figures through the first four games this season.
•  The Purple Eagles are second in the MAAC in blocks (18) and blocks per game (4.5), while 
Dominic Robb is second in the conference and 31st in the nation with 10 blocks. Robb swatted a career-best four shots at Rutgers and has had at least two blocks in each game.
•  The Purple Eagles had 10 steals in the season opener; NU had three 10-plus steals games last season. 
Dwayne Pow leads NU with 1.8 steals per game and is ninth in the MAAC.

•  
Matt Scott leads Niagara in scoring (20.5), rebounds (6.3) and assists (3.8) per game.
•  
Matt Scott is the only player to be ranked in the MAAC top-10 in points, rebounds and assists.
•  Scott leads the MAAC, and is 23rd in the nation, in free throws made with 28.
 
Block Party
•  Niagara had a season-high nine blocks at Rutgers – 
Dominic Robb had a career-high four blocks, 
Ali Tew and 
Marvin Prochet each had two blocks, and Maurice Taylor had one.
• Niagara's nine blocks are the most since Feb. 28, 2010 (nine against Fairfield).
 
On The Court
Drexel Dragons (2-2/0-0 CAA)
• Drexel has won its last two games with victories over Hartford and North Texas.
•  Senior Forward Rodney Williams is averaging 18.5 ppg, along with 7.3 rebounds per game.
•  Kurk Lee was named Colonial Athletic Association rookie of the week for his performance against Hartford. He went 10-16 from the floor scoring a career-high 24 points.
 
Against the Dragons (Tied 6-6)
•  Niagara has won three of the last five in the series.
•  NU is 4-1 at the Gallagher Center in the series.
•  The Purple Eagles' last win in the series was on Nov. 17, 2009, when they defeated Dragons to open their home schedule as part of ESPN's College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon at 8 a.m.
