The Niagara Purple Eagles will wrap up their three-game road swing at the Big Ten's Rutgers Scarlet Knights on Sunday at Noon.
Scene Setter
• The Purple Eagles are in search of their first win after opening the season with three games in five days.
• Niagara lost a close game to local rival and two-time defending MAC champion Buffalo in the season opener before starting a three-game trip at Brown where the Purple Eagles fell 88-79.
• NU rallied from a 14-point second half deficit to force overtime before falling in the extra session to the Hartford Hawks, 82-78, as part ESPN's ninth annual College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon on Nov. 15.
• This will be Niagara's second game in the Scarlet Knight Classic.
• Niagara won the only previous meeting with Rutgers, defeating the Scarlet Knights, 73-61, on Dec. 18, 1969
