The Niagara volleyball team continues conference play with a couple of home matches against Iona on Saturday and Manhattan on Sunday.
Purple Points
- Niagara is off to its best home start (3-0) since winning eight straight home matches in 2011.
- The Purple Eagles are returning home, after splitting last weekend's conference matches; a loss to Fairfield 0-3 (10/1) and a comeback win at Quinnipiac 3-2 (10/2).
- In their match against Fairfield, two Purple Eagles continued their statistical streaks; Alexis Gray posted 11 assists, continuing her streak of at least 11 assists per match, and libero Rylee Hunt recorded 12 digs to continue her double-digit streak of digs to 16 straight matches.
- Two Purple Eagles set new records during their five-set match win against Quinnipiac.
- Nicole Matheis and Alexis Gray both tacked on new career-highs. Matheis had a career-best 27 kills for the most since 2007. Gray dished out 60 assists for the highest amount of assists for a Purple Eagle since 2011.
- Rylee Hunt logged 16 digs against the Bobcats, continuing her streak of double-digit digs to 17 straight matches.
- The Purple Eagles had season-highs in kills (70), assists (69) and attacking percentage (.265).

- Libero Rylee Hunt is now fourth all-time in digs (1,407) for the Niagara volleyball team. She is 78 digs behind Hannah Hedrick for third place.
- Alexis Gray is now fourth all-time in service aces (118) for the Purple Eagles and is four aces away from tying Hedrick for third all-time.
- Alex Stone is 42 blocks away from tying Tammy Greek for second on the all-time total blocks list.
Ace Up Their Sleeves
- The Purple Eagles are tied for 25th in the nation in service aces (106), with setter Alexis Gray tied for 15th with 29 service aces.
- Niagara ranks 44th in the NCAA in aces per set at 1.54 aces per set.
MAAC Standouts
- Nicole Matheis and Madison May are ranked in the top 10 in kills for the MAAC. Matheis is fifth with an average of 3.00 kills per set and May is eighth, averaging 2.87 kills per set.
- Alexis Gray maintains her position in the conference, ranking second in service aces (0.42 aces per set), and sixth in assists (7.03 assists per set).
- Alex Stone ranks third in blocks, averaging 0.99 blocks per set, with teammate libero Rylee Hunt ranking fifth in digs, with an average 4.30 digs per set.

- Niagara is 24-17 all-time against Iona.
