Host Courtney Corbetta previews an exciting weekend for Niagara athletics in this week's edition of Purple Eagles Insider. She sits down with Niagara volleyball junior Nicole Matheis as well as Niagara hockey assistant coaches Ethan Moreau and Michael Findorff.

Niagara hockey opens its regular season at Dwyer Arena with 7:05 p.m. games against Holy Cross on both Friday, Oct. 7 and Saturday, Oct. 8. The volleyball team is home Saturday, Oct. 8 and Sunday, Oct. 9 against Iona and Manhattan, respectively. Both of those matches start at 1 p.m. Niagara men's soccer also plays their Alumni Weekend contest against Monmouth on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 1 p.m. on Niagara Field.
