EAST AMHERST, N.Y. – The men's golf team defeated Canisius 386 (+31) to 393 (+38) on Saturday afternoon. The teams played stroke play and the top five scores for the Purple Eagles and the Golden Griffins were counted towards the total.

Christian Nizamis and Ryan Mihok led the Purple Eagles, each firing a 76 (+5).

Daniel Weimer and Matt Lesinski both shot 77 (+6). Nicco Gentile carded an 80 (+9).

Wilson Lockwood rounded out the Niagara group, finishing with a score of 84 (+13).

The Purple Eagles will take the course again in the spring.
