NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. – Incoming Niagara University men's soccer goalkeeper Colin Hanley has been named to the TopDrawerSoccer.com High School Boys Winter All-America Second Team.

Hanley, a 6-foot, 185-pound goalkeeper from Mandeville, Louisiana, was a three-year starter at St. Paul's High School where he served as team captain as a junior and a senior.

As a junior he was named to the All-District First Team, All-State Second Team and the Louisiana Prep XI First Team as well as taking home the St. Paul's Athlete of the Year Award. As a senior, Hanley collected 21 shutouts and recorded a 0.3 goals against average to lead St. Paul's to a 31-0-3 record. He was named both a First Team All-State selection and the Defensive MVP of Division I. He was also named to the Academic All-State Team.

TopDrawerSoccer.com rated him as a 4-Star recruit and Everybodysoccer.com listed him as the 10th ranked goalkeeper in the country entering college this fall. Off the pitch, he was a part of the National Honor Society through his sophomore to senior years and was a four-year member of the Principal's Honor Roll.

Hanley was named the 2014-15 Gatorade Louisiana Boys Soccer Player of the Year by the Gatorade Company and USA Today High School Sports in May. The Gatorade Player of the Year also takes academic standing into account. Hanley maintained a 4.16 GPA in the classroom and volunteered on behalf of youth soccer programs as a member of the Mu Alpha Theta mathematics honor society.

Niagara begins the regular season with a home match against Robert Morris on Aug. 28 at Noon.
