NU Basketball Tip-Off Dinner Set For November 6

NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. –  Niagara University will host an evening to support the Purple Eagles Basketball Programs on Nov. 6 at the Niagara Falls Country Club in Lewiston, N.Y. Anyone interested in supporting the Niagara University men's and women's basketball teams is encouraged to attend this great event.

Niagara University Director of Athletics Simon Gray, along with men's basketball head coach Chris Casey and women's basketball head coach Kendra Faustin, will welcome guest speaker Jon Rothstein, CBS Sports Network's College Basketball Insider.

The event begins with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres at 5:30 p.m; followed by dinner beginning at 6:30 p.m. and then the program featuring the remarks from Rothstein. The cost is $100 per person and $800 per table of eight.  Table purchases will also include public recognition. Please R.S.V.P. by Oct. 30 to Jennifer Ebbole at 716-286-8600 to secure your spot.

The Niagara Men open the season on the road against the ACC's Pitt Panthers on Friday, Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. on ESPN3. The Purple Eagles will open their 66th season at the Taps Gallagher Center versus Hartford on Nov. 22 at 7 p.m.

The Niagara Women begin their season on the road versus Youngstown State on Nov. 15 at 11 a.m. The Purple Eagles will have their home opener on Saturday, Nov. 29 in the first-ever meeting against Detroit.
