Bison Quad Draw

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Niagara men’s tennis doubles tandem of Brandon Gallegos and Lorenz Schwojer was edged in the season-opening Bison Quad championship match on Saturday.

The duo went 3-1 in the tournament. The pair won two matches on Friday to advance to the semifinals where they defeated Nick Bybel and Jonathan de Francesh, 8-4. The victory set up a championship match with Bucknell’s Kelly Morque and Aidan Lynch who eliminated NU’s Michael Elortegui and David Raymond in the other semifinal match, 9-7.

Gallegos and Schwojer were nipped by the Bucknell’s duo, 8-6.

Singles play will continue on Sunday. Niagara went 5-0 in singles action on Friday.
